I went to have my gall bladder removed on the 11th of May 2023
From being picked up at the airport in Wroclaw to the minute I went home I was treated brilliantly the staff and doctors were brilliant the coordinators were excellent
The clinic was spotlessly clean the nurses were great and very kind to me and my wife who came with me.
I had first-class treatment from the first-class staff, I would definitely recommend it if you need treatment for anything.
The cost was a fraction of the cost to have it done in the UK and that was including our airfare and hotel! I chose the clinic by looking at reviews and also because I have been to Poland a few times and know Wroclaw well

Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab.
I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure.
Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles).
Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

I had both hips replacement done at KCM Clinic and I am really happy with the service and qualification of the personnel and result. This is 6 months later after 1st surgery I back to KCM Clinic. I was looking for a dual mobility implant to help prevent dislocation and keep stability. This kind of implant is for people sports minded. They offer me an implant from top level -Stryker MDMx3 for my both sides.
True, you can get only ordinary implants to remove your pain from most clinics but if you looking to go back to the gym, swimming, cycling going to mountains or your normal life you need something different and KCM Clinic is the clinic that can offer you these.
What you can expect from KCM procedure. First, they will pick up you from airport and drop you off at hotel of your choice. Next, they will pick up you for examination and drop you back. On the third day you have your surgery. You stay in the hospital for 3 days and you are free to go Also you can stay in the hotel and pop up for physio to KCM if you want.
Again, thank you to Patryk from International Patients Department and Cris for looking after me and the paperwork. All documentation needed has been filled out quickly without hassle. Doctor Jarosław Mączyńskidid 2 surgeries. It was brilliant work. I was afraid but in your hands, everyone can feel safe. All nurses always brought a smile to my face and cared about me.
