He returned me life quality, an excellently professional friendly and credible, the right person I was lucky to meet.
I live in Jerusalem. A year ago I was in a course of intensive research to find a suitable treatment for my upper jaw that suffered severe loss of bone, which according to most dentists I have consulted with, required vast sinus lift procedures. I was not ready to enter into such a procedure in my advanced age and my research was focused on specialists dealing with such situations and alternative systems. I inquired a lot and within that I encountered Dr. Baysal, as a potential “candidate” for a deeper check. I was assisted by my son in law Dr. Robert Borgos, who himself is an excellent dentist as well, and I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp. The correspondence with Dr. Baysal has led me to travel to Istanbul to meet him for getting a closer impression to learn more about his way of working, his personality and his dental clinic. I was impressed by his passion, his personality and professionalism. He explained me about what he called the “ Baysal System”, working with a tool he has developed. More I was impressed by his careful attitude not to recommend a treatment, unless having more CT scan data. He did not rely on what I brought with me. I liked his careful attitude to avoid immediate loading. I felt like he was reluctant about gaining new clients, but was conducted more by giving appropriate advice.
I returned to my country and have sent Dr. Baysal new CT scanned according to his requirements. He studied them and recommended me a treatment plan. Dr. Robert and me have started intensive correspondence and talks with Dr. Baysal to learn exactly his treatment plan and get clarifications. At the end of the day I have decided to have the treatment done by Dr. Baysal.
I made the operation at his clinic, he was so friendly so his staff and at the end of the day I got 6 implants. After vast bone work I was recommended to return after 4 months. I returned but after taking a ct scan for being more safe we decided not to postpone the final work of bridge and crowns for 2 months later.
I came back and got wonderful teeth, a reliable friend, I am happy.

Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal:
I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal.
I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul.
I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period.
After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal.
6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am!
My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels.
I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth.
Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable!

I have just had some crowns & implants fitted by Dr Cem! I travelled from London for treatment! It was all very easy to organise the work was done with no issues & I have great results! the cost was half of what it would have been in the UK! I will be going back to have all my teeth done next year! I was given his name by a friend who had used him & now I fully recommend him!
