Name : Assist. Assoc. Dr. Osman Gözkun
Dr. Osman Gözkün was married and has a daughter. He was born
in Tarsus in 1978. He finished his General Surgery specialization at Istanbul
University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 after getting his PhD from UKurova
University Faculty of Medicine.
He conducted numerous studies in bariatric and metabolic
surgery, his area of expertise, and organized numerous seminars and symposiums
during his time as a specialist.
Since 2012, Gözkün has been a faculty member at Bilgi
University. He has successfully conducted more than 1000 procedures while using
modern laparoscopic surgery techniques.

Going to Mayclinic has been the best decision I have ever made. Dr Osman and his team were amazing from the beginning. I did my operation and within 2 days I felt normal with no pain or any issues even did a little shopping.
I highly recommend Dr Osman and his team to anyone considering gastric sleeve, they make you feel safe and reassured ☺️

5 stars for the most horrific experience of my life. Signs trim moment I got into taxi I felt this was a mistake. Everything was rushed. Surgery put forward so I had no time to have second thoughts. I was alone and had mental health problems so was easy to be now 25convinced. Almost a year and I am in convent pain. Was 6 months out of work. A month in hospital after experiencing surgery to clear horrinfection. Another month Imental health hospital with PTSD. Caused by all the trauma. Now all this time later I am asking them to help me with severe pain problems. Limitsmost everyday things. IDestroyed my relationship. And affected my family lie drastically. I’m still terrified I will die from this. Update on 15 July 23. I did not order wine to my room. I don’t drink wine. I changed rooms so it’s highly likely the hotel made a mistake. I had a tummy bug and had to shower as I woke up destroyed. Where were your nurses them. As for smoking , I repeated over and over again with sales rep that I smoke. I can’t use internet. I trusted my surgeon not to do operation if it was that serious. He never said a word to me. I had NO consultation. Everything was rushed. He was delayed because my heartbeat was low and I had to see the heart consultant. I would not have had this operation if surgeon had told me I could die from it. I never intend to give up smoking . I asked you for video call with surgeon to show him my tummy and advise me with pain management. I received no call as yet. As for revision surgery, I’d rather go to hell than allow another operation. I don’t care what I look like. I only want help with pain management. It’s ruining my life. I can’t stretch or bend my body. I can barely eat as it swells up more. I’m at serious risk of losing my job. I can’t socialise. Do proper housework. Lift my grandkids. I can’t go on family holiday. I can’t even wear underwear. And that goes for bra too as I got 2 operations together and my scars on my breasts hurt too. Before I had to have emergency operation in Ireland to clear infection, I ask you , could I go back to surgeon to sort it out. As it all happened gradually. The aftercare stopped at the airport on way home to Ireland. You just kept telling me it would heal in time. With your experience you knew I was gonna end up in hospital . I still owe that hospital 10,000 euro. A double operation on a 58 year old woman with serious mental health problems should never have happened. They were aware of my condition as I had to list all medications. And sales rep brought me to see a mental health doctor. I had to stay extra because even in those early days after operation I had sign of infection. I got Dog ears too, on my hips. They won’t let me post photos. Now they won’t answer my texts requesting the surgeon have a look at my tummy through video chat. They said they would arrange revision surgery. It’s just a small operation they said. I pay for flights. They pay for surgery. And hotel.

From start to finish, Mayclinik have been flawless. Busra made planning so easy, Dr Yusuf was so kind and reassuring, and the nurses and Beyza have been so caring and informative for aftercare. I am healing nicely and can't recommend MayClinik enough.
